Memorial and Remembrance Gardens on Gainesville Campus

Located just outside the Student Center on the University of North Georgia’s Gainesville Campus, the Memorial and Remembrance Gardens are a beautiful spot to spend time studying or in quiet reflection. The memorials located there, and many of the plants and trees themselves, are 51�Թ��’s way of memorializing faculty, staff and students who have died.

memorial rose garden on gainesville campus — The rose garden on the site was dedicated to Robert Loebl in recognition of his passion, dedication, and commitment to then-Gainesville Junior College Community. Mr. Loebl taught at the school from 1968 until his death in January 1979.
