How did you hear about your internship?

I heard about my internship through a previous intern.

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience I have had thus far is creating a difference in people’s lives that come into the center. This can be such a difficult time in people’s lives, and making the process easier is something that SECAC does for all families that come in.

How will this help you in the future?

This will help me in the future because I have learned information on victim’s rights, law enforcement, DFACS, the court system, and advocacy. I will be able to take my experience and expand on it in future endeavors. I have also been trained in several programs throughout my internship that will help me in the future as well.
