General Compliance Training
As required by 51³Ô¹ÏÍø policies and procedures, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia Policy Manual and Business Procedures Manual, as well as applicable federal and state laws, all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø employees are required to annually complete mandatory training via approved online learning platforms. New employees are required to complete this training during the first month of employment at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Annual Mandatory Training Courses include, but are not limited to:
- Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Right to Know Program
- Ethics
- Cybersecurity
- Georgia Open Records Act
- Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
- Conflict of Interest
Additional Mandatory Training Courses for Select Populations include, but are not limited to:
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
- Data Governance
- Research Training
- Records Retention
- Title IX
- Clery Act Campus Security Authorities (CSAs)
- Driver Training
- Wex Fuel Card Training
- Programs Serving Non-Enrolled Minors
