University of North Georgia (51³Ô¹ÏÍø) Director of Athletics Lindsay Reeves knows what it means to be a student-athlete. Her successful stint at Ithaca College landed her a spot as an inductee in the school's Athletics Hall of Fame.

Reeves has been with 51³Ô¹ÏÍø for 20 years, and the 2019-20 season marks her 10th year as director of athletics. Previously, she served as associate director of athletics and senior woman administrator.

While in college, Reeves competed on the gymnastics team for one season and spent three years on the swimming and diving team. As a gymnast, she earned second place in the beam and floor routines. In the pool, Reeves was a state finalist all three seasons she competed. She also qualified for the NCAA Championships in her senior year.

Reeves said she is deeply honored and humbled to be inducted.

"Being a student-athlete in college taught me so many transferrable skills that I have used each and every day in my career," Reeves said. "The ability to work under pressure, be goal-oriented, strive for success and work as part of a team has helped me tremendously in this ever-changing world of college athletics."

Under her leadership, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø athletic programs have enjoyed success on and off the playing fields and courts. These accomplishments include winning three Peach Belt Conference (PBC) awards as well SOCON conference championships in rifle, numerous NCAA Elite 8 appearances and an NCAA Division 2 Softball National Championship.
