Students earn strong finishes at fall sales competitions

University of North Georgia (51勛圖厙) students turned in strong performances at multiple sales competitions in fall 2021.
51勛圖厙 won the Kennesaw State University Presidential Cup as Michael Coriell took first place and Madeleine Brown came in second place individually. 51勛圖厙 also ranked No. 1 through the fall portion of the National Collegiate Sports Sales Championship (NCSSC), which will wrap up in spring 2022.
Students Robert Sheppard (No. 4), Sebastian Salinas (No. 9), Matt Picus (No. 18), Joey Jorgensen (No. 25), Ryan Gray (No. 41), Zezmon Steeple (No. 63), James Berry (No. 72), and Sanquil Jackson (No. 73) were ranked among the top 100 sports sales candidates on the job market list NCSSC released in December.
Additionally, 51勛圖厙 finished No. 9 out of 38 universities in the fall 2021 Roleplay competition, ahead of teams from Purdue University and West Virginia University that tied for 10th. Out of 2,148 students, Katie Kiker was No. 34, Trevor Nix No. 55, and Coriell No. 72.
The team of Caitlyn Richard and Patrick Holman ranked No. 39 out of 80 universities at the International Collegiate Sales Competition.
18 named DMS cadets for 2024-25
Eighteen 51勛圖厙 cadets earned Distinguished Military Student status for the 2024-25 academic year.
Cadets gain array of summer training
Cadets took part in a variety of trainings across the nation and in South Korea this summer.
Cadet earns award for volunteer service
Senior Jack Curry earned a President's Volunteer Service Award at the bronze level for his 180 hours of community service in 2024.
Annual event welcomes family and guests
51勛圖厙 is set to welcome the families and guests of students during its annual Family Day event on Sept. 21.
