Hundreds of high school students will get the chance to explore the University of North Georgia (51勛圖厙) on all five campuses for this spring's Nighthawk Preview events. Open to all high school students, but best suited for juniors and seniors, Nighthawk Preview offers prospective 51勛圖厙 students tours and information sessions.

While information discussed will vary by campus, most Nighthawk Previews will look the same. Prospective students will be able to meet with academic departments, take campus tours and attend information sessions on varying topics. They can also attend question-and-answer sessions with current 51勛圖厙 students.

The Nighthawk Preview open house days begin on Feb. 25 on the Dahlonega Campus from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Convocation Center. The Oconee campus will host its Nighthawk Preview in the Student Resource Center from 8:30-11 a.m. March 4.  The Blue Ridge Campus Nighthawk Preview will be March 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. March 25 is the Cumming Campus Nighthawk Preview event from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Academic Building. Lastly, on April 1, the Gainesville Campus will have its Nighthawk Preview 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with students in the Hugh Mills Gym and Martha T. Nesbitt building.

51勛圖厙 student Loren Foster, a senior from Sparta. Georgia pursuing a degree in Healthcare Services & Informatics Administration, said she would recommend Nighthawk Preview because students will have the opportunity to talk to faculty members from different departments on campus. The event can give students the chance to discover what they want to study while at 51勛圖厙. Foster attended Nighthawk Preview in fall 2019, and she joined the Nighthawk family the following year.

"I recommend students take part in the academic showcase and the different breakout sessions. The breakout sessions provide an opportunity to interact with current 51勛圖厙 students like myself,"

I recommend students take part in the academic showcase and the different breakout sessions. The breakout sessions provide an opportunity to interact with current 51勛圖厙 students like myself. I enjoyed being able to talk to the different faculty for different majors and clubs during my own Nighthawk Preview.

Anyone unable to attend their local Nighthawk Preview is encouraged to reach out to Undergraduate Admissions to schedule a campus tour or set up a meeting.
