Patriot Hall is suite-style housing, which opened in fall 2010 to house students in the University of North Georgia's (51勛圖厙) Corps of Cadets. Patriot Hall is located in the center of campus in close proximity to the Library Technology Center, Owen Hall, and most academic buildings. There will be civilian Resident Assistants to assist residents on the 4th floor community. Cadets will be living on floors 1-3 of Patriot Hall in co-ed companies.
51勛圖厙 has a long, successful history housing civilian residents and cadets in the same buildings on an as needed basis, including in Patriot Hall for the past four years. This is a wonderful opportunity to understand more about 51勛圖厙's Corps of Cadets while gaining a unique perspective that many 51勛圖厙 civilian students never have the opportunity to experience. Civilian students living in Patriot Hall will not participate in any of the Corps of Cadets training.
There is a YouTube video produced for Cadets about Patriot Hall which will give you a good idea of how the rooms are designed. Please be aware that the "Cadet requirements" in the video will not apply to the civilian students living in the building. We will not require you to arrange your closets or drawers in any particular way, and you will not be issued black storage containers for your belongings.
