Overview
Tiffany Joy I. Prater is an educator at the University of North Georgia, where she guides her students to understand their power of communicating ideas to influence change. Initially from Bahrain, she pursued her B.F.A. from Eastern Illinois University, and earned her M.F.A. from Indiana University, before relocating to Georgia.
Tiffany has served in several communities within the university and has been a mentor to the BFA and BA graphic design majors. She's also a member of several professional organizations, such as the AIGA Atlanta, Femmetype, and the Society of Typographic Arts.
She has worked both in-house and freelance as a designer and illustrator, finding ways to problem-solve creatively and bring ideas to life. Along with exhibiting her work, Tiffany always seeks new ways to collaborate with art and design projects.
