The Cost of Attending
What is it going to cost me? Well you can see on the left hand side of the screen that is the cost for the associate degree seeking students for both their tuition and fees. On the right hand side of the screen is the same for the bachelor degree seeking students. On the bottom of the screen you can see both the cost for housing and meals plans listed.
Admissions Requirements
What is it going to take to get into 51³Ô¹ÏÍø? Well it is pretty simple we are looking at two different things. We are looking at your test scores and you’re GPA. You can see on the left hand side of the screen the requirements for the associate degree seeking students and on the right hand side of the screen you can see the requirements for those that are wanting to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Now just to preface, it is very important that you know that just because students meet the minimums it doesn’t always guarantee admission into the University. So although these are minimum scores, you want to shoot for these and beyond.
For students that are wanting to dual enroll and get started early on their college opportunities you can see listed here the requirements. Once again guys we are looking at both your SAT or ACT scores as well as GPA requirements. It is fairly simple. So for students that are taking the OLD SAT, you can see that on the left hand side of the screen. The new SAT is listed in the middle, and on the right hand side of the screen is the ACT. And the minimum requirement for students that are wanting to dual enroll is a 3.25.
And then for our application process for new freshmen that are coming in. It is a fairly simple process. The first step is to apply through GAFutures. GAFutures.org is the host website where you can apply into the University of North Georgia. Secondly we need you to submit all official transcripts. It says all, because it is all official transcripts. So if you are dual enrolling at an institution we need the official transcripts sent from your college that you are dual enrolling at as well as your high school. Thirdly we need all official test scores. So for students that are pursuing, whether it is the SAT or the ACT, for their test we are going to need you to submit all official test scores into the University. And then lastly we do need proof of lawful U.S. presence. Simply put that is a driver’s license photo, it is a passport photo, or it can be a copy of your original birth certificate. Once you have those three thing submitted, all official transcripts, all test scores, your proof of lawful presence with your application, you can be given a decision.
Thank you for your interest here at the University of North Georgia, and as always Go Nighthawks!
