Keeping Financial Aid

Students must make satisfactory academic progress toward their degree in order to continue eligibility for federal aid, state aid, and some institutional scholarships.  Students are required to maintain a minimum grade point average and successfully complete the classes needed to graduate within the timeframe allowed by the U.S. Department of Education.

1. HOPE GPA is a calculation of all attempted coursework after the date of high school graduation. The HOPE GPA calculation does not include dual enrollment credits, AP, or CLEP classes. 

2. Overall GPA is a calculation of all college attempted coursework. The Overall GPA calculation includes dual enrollment credits/classes.
